A spread eagle with a star arc, filled with clear food-contact epoxy and sanded flush. The dark inlay is the laser burn, not pigment. Knives ride over the graphic instead of catching a surface burn. The larger of the two sizes we keep in the shop.

• 13 × 19½ × 1½ in acacia — juice groove cut in the shop
• 1½ in thick is standard. Thicker if the stock allows it.
• Handmade blank, not a distributor board
• Deep laser cut, clear food-contact epoxy, sanded flush
• Mineral oil finish, rubber feet
